Repentigny, QC Domestic Violence Response Team Pilot

In Progress

The Service de police de la Ville de Repentigny (SPVR) received a CAD 145,000 provincial grant for the program. An SPVR detective and an experienced social worker provide dedicated responses to domestic violence incidents over the five-year pilot. The team coordinates support for victims and their families as they conduct criminal investigations. Municipal officials hope the team's work will yield new domestic violence prevention and detection solutions.
