Richmond, VA Virtual Learning Project Productive Students
The city and Richmond Public Schools assigned Community Connectors to six public housing communities. Each Connector contacts families with RPS students each school day to evaluate resource needs. These contacts uncover student needs ranging from lack of workspaces and connectivity to food shortages. The Virtual Learning Project also guides parents through uncertain situations created by remote education and COVID-19.
