Sacramento, CA Justice for Neighbors Household Repairs Pilot

City officials identified deteriorating housing conditions as a significant issue for local households. Justice for Neighbors offers up to $15,000 per successful applicant to address code violations. Qualified applicants are homeowners earning 80% or less of the area median income. Project partner Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento will fix electrical, plumbing, roofing, and HVAC issues. The pilot lasts four years or until $504,000 in program funds are exhausted.
