Planning
The regional energy company is providing 198 panels and two years of panel maintenance at three public education facilities. The installations will produce 130,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year. Salvador saves 120,000 real per year by switching to passive solar generation, representing up to 90% of energy costs for the centers. The installations will be used for school and community engagement campaigns about sustainable energy.
