San Marcos, TX initiates e-scooter pilot program with Texas State University and Spin
The city council approved the pilot to replace the recently concluded VeoRide program. Fifty Spin e-scooters are available in select city areas. University students and staff can access 150 e-scooters on campus. San Marcos and Texas State University are holding kickoff events with free helmets given to early adopters. These events include scooter training sessions designed by Spin to prevent accidents.
