The City of San Jose launched the Silicon Valley Strong website as a digital resource hub for residents living in Santa Clara County during the COVID-19 pandemic. This landing page showcases critical updates, raises funds, recruits volunteers, and develops food distribution strategies. Silicon Valley Strong was developed in collaboration with Silicon Valley organizations and businesses in order to provide resources to vulnerable neighbors.

The City of San Jose created an online map showcasing over 400 food distribution sites for families that need helping during the COVID-19 pandemic in Santa Clara County. The map is available on the new Silicon Valley Strong website and is updated regularly with data from local governments, schools, non-profits, businesses, and news outlets. Users are able to search for nearby food banks, pick-up restaurants, senior meal services, and youth meal services by entering their address.
