The city of Sint-Niklaas partnered with Inter, a non-profit accessibility organization, to organize a low-stimulus event at the city fair. The low-stimulus event was developed for visitors with autism, epilepsy, or any condition that makes bright lights and loud sounds unpleasant. During a special four-hour period, the sound at the fairground was limited to 50 decibels, strobe lights were disabled, and Inter volunteers were on-site to provide support for visitors.
