Strasbourg, GES created a new subsidy to help residents purchase electric bicycles
The Eurometropolis of Strasbourg created a new subsidy to help residents purchase electric bicycles and electrically-assisted cargo bikes. Every adult resident is eligible and the subsidy amount ranges from €300-500 depending on the applicant's Family Quotient calculated by the Family Allowance Fund. The electric bicycle or electrically-assisted cargo bike purchase must be made from a local reseller-distributor that is a depositary of the "Partenaire Véloptimiste" brand.
