Expert-led exercises assist attendees with problem-solving, prototyping, and pitching their concepts. Ignite Your Own Business Idea presents local, state, and national resources for entrepreneurs as well as business licensing requirements. The event encourages young entrepreneurs to stay in the region and meet market needs.

Western Downs, QLD Procurement Roadshow expands the list of potential vendors for council business

Western Downs scheduled four roadshows in August 2022 at locations throughout the region. Council representatives at each event explain the tendering process and legal requirements to local businesses. Procurement Roadshow events establish the breadth and depth of opportunities for work with the council ranging from event catering to roadwork. Local officials hope that increased engagement will result in better use of public funds for economic growth.
