Westland, ZH Self-Cleaning Restroom Accessibility Health

A new public restroom in the 's-Gravenzande town center rotates toilets after each use. The used toilet is sanitized while a newly cleaned toilet locks into place. The restroom floor is automatically washed and dried between uses. Municipal officials added a plant-covered roof as a nod to the ongoing need for green spaces. Westland designed the restroom with wheelchair and scooter users in mind after suggestions by local residents.
