Williamson County, TX integrates FloodMapp intelligence technology for data-driven flood responses

County officials approved a partnership with FloodMapp for the use of three core products. ForeCast estimates flood depth and extent for targeted mitigation efforts by county personnel. The NowCast tool provides real-time mapping of flood depths throughout the county for more effective responses during events. Williamson County will also use PostCast for street-level assessments of flood impacts for relief funding decisions.

County residents access maps of current weather alerts and evacuation shelters from the app. The Share My Status function replicates social media functionality by allowing users to indicate if they are safe or require help during emergencies.
