The council worked with GoodVision to deploy its AI-enabled platform in evaluating traffic behavior at intersections. This project studied the dwell time - or time spent by vehicles at full stops - at select intersections. Wyndham and GoodVision also evaluated rapid speed changes by vehicles that contribute to accidents. The resulting heat maps and analyses help city officials meet the goals of Wyndham's Active Transport Strategy and Smart City Strategy.

The council's collaboration with Smart Parking Limited added sensors and gateways to 2,000 parking spaces. Smart Parking's technology sends real-time traffic data to a dedicated dashboard used for council allocation of personnel and resources. Future parking structures and development projects are informed by Smart Parking data. This network also allows commuters to find real-time parking information on their mobile devices.
