Smart Parking
Delivering social impact and efficient parking infringement detection through real-time parking space monitoring
Many civil enforcement officers are concerned about negative community impacts from parking congestion and undetected parking infringements. We created a durable parking space monitoring solution that quickly identifies space availability and illegal parking for efficient enforcement, improving residents' experiences. The battery-powered parking sensors use LPWAN to send information back to a centralised software dashboard and provide alerts to CEOs on infringements.
Highlights
Prioritise limited enforcement resources - Civil enforcement officers can adjust their patrols as needed with real-time notifications of parking infringements
Detect and ticket unauthorised use of resident parking bays - Combining smart parking sensors with resident vehicle tags provides enforcement officers with insights to assess possible infringements
Improve air quality by reducing the time residents spend searching for a parking space - residents can identify available spaces and head straight there, saving fuel and emissions.
Quickly identify illegally parked vehicles - Enforcement officers can receive custom text or email alerts when vehicles have overstayed limits or are parked in unauthorised zones.
Detect unlicensed taxi driver operation - When used with vehicle tags, parking sensors can assess the number of authorised taxis or personal cars present in any designated zone
