Belmont, WA achieves sustainable goals and better serves community members with Belmont Hub
Belmont, WA Hub Sustainable Goals Community Connect
Belmont Hub houses the public library, museum, and nonprofit workspaces. City officials worked with Bollig Design Group to expand the building's value with a demonstration kitchen, recording studio, and cafe. This structure reduces the council's carbon footprint with a 100-kilowatt rooftop solar array and air-source ventilation. Belmont recorded more than 22,000 hub visitors in its first month and achieved 6 Star certification from Green Star Buildings Australia.
