Birmingham City Council, GB homeless tenant partnership

In Progress

Birmingham City Council partnered with the Help2Rent organization to help homeless families find affordable housing and to support landlords in the private rented sector. The scheme provides incentives to landlords who offer 12-month fixed tenancies to homeless and low-income families. Participating landlords can select from a range of assurances including landlord insurance, rental deposits, and rental guarantees which are normally a barrier to accepting low-income tenants.
