The council purchased a former community center from Norfolk County Council for the project. The renovation will turn this disused building into accommodations for 35 people with units for singles, couples, and families. Breckland Council works with project partners to provide on-site services for employment, mental health, and other needs. The Thetford facility will act as an emergency housing option with the goal of moving residents into permanent housing.
