Bristol City Council, GB equips residents for the modern world with the Digital Inclusion Pilot
Bristol City Council, GB Digital Inclusion Pilot
In Progress
Bristol City Council and Bristol Waste plan to refurbish 3,600 council laptops for residents with limited access to computers. The pilot focuses on unemployed adults, out-of-school teens, and seniors who need connectivity for online learning and health appointments. Each participant receives a laptop, initial data plan, and digital skills training from the Community Learning Team. The Digital Inclusion Pilot may be scaled up by training initial recipients as program ambassadors.
