Cambridgeshire County Council, GB converts trio of public properties into solar farms

Cambridgeshire County Council, GB Solar Farms Properties

Planning

Council leaders are working with PECT to develop solar installations at North Angle Farm, Babraham Road Park and Ride, and the Stanground landfill. New solar farms will produce enough energy to power 13,300 houses each year. Social media campaigns and virtual workshops generate public feedback on the installations. These projects help Cambridgeshire County achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 with lifetime carbon savings of nearly 113,000 tons.
