Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ Ponto Cego Public Transit Campaign

City officials approved a 90-day campaign for bus drivers to apply the Ponto Cego - or Blind Spot - sticker to their vehicles. Nearby motorists and pedestrians are reminded that drivers cannot see them when they are aligned with the bright yellow labels. The Ponto Cego initiative encourages visibility near buses especially on roundabouts and heavily traveled streets. Broad application of the stickers also makes bus drivers more mindful of surrounding traffic.
