Ceredigion County Council, GB discounts public land for home self-build pilot

Ceredigion County Council, GB Public Land Self-Build Pilot

In Progress

The council offers two public lots in Ciliau Aeron for a below-market price of £25,000 per lot. Eligible buyers demonstrate that they can borrow no more than 10% of the purchase price. This pilot requires these lots to be the primary residences for buyers. Ceredigion County Council also wants buyers with local connections as long-time residents or local key workers. A successful pilot could lead to expanded lot offerings that encourage residents to build homes in the county.
