Ceredigion County Council, GB recognizes unpaid carers during COVID-19 with Carer Card program
Friends and family members of residents who need care are eligible for free Carer Cards. An unpaid carer registers with the county's Carers Information Service to qualify for priority shipping times at grocery stores. The card acts as an ID when a carer picks up essential products for a housebound resident. Ceredigion County Council also offers a Young Carer Card for unpaid carers aged 18 years and younger.

Ceredigion County Council, GB approves green infrastructure projects to improve local climate
The council applied for national funding for its Lampeter Green Corridor and Market Street Pedestrian Prioritisation projects. The Green Corridor project fully connects the town's north and south sides with a pedestrian path surrounded by urban forestry. Lampeter's Market Street will de-emphasize cars and trucks with pop-up shop spaces, seating, and trees. The proposed green infrastructure projects help the county reach its goal of carbon neutrality by 2030.
