The City of Chicago deployed Chronolog photo stations at designated spots in Humboldt Park and Palmisano Park. Any visitor can place their phone in the geo-coordinated bracket, take a picture, and email it to Chronolog. The submitted images are stitched together into an ongoing time-lapse series which track seasonal and environmental changes. The time-lapse series also helps site managers identify maintenance needs and track habitat restoration projects.
