Darmstadt, DE launches free open geoportal and geodata catalog

Open city geodata on climate, zoning and infrastructure

Darmstadt launched a new geoportal offering residents free, openly usable geodata, including urban climate data, development plans and social infrastructure data. Users can toggle and combine maps, search, filter and measure, and download selected datasets in common GIS formats, with a companion geodata catalog describing each dataset. Both are fully web-based and need no registration or extra software.
