The city's Human Services and Parks & Recreation departments hosted the pilot program at the La Alma Recreation Center during its off-hours. Showers were open to male residents on early Monday mornings, while female residents accessed showers on early Friday mornings. The two-month pilot was part of a public restroom initiative that stationed a mobile restroom near public buildings in downtown Denver.
