The City of Grand Rapids launched the PhotoVision challenge via social media to help shape the future of the local park system. Participating residents submit a photo of their neighborhood park to Instagram with the hashtag #YourCityYourParks alongside a description of what they currently enjoy, what could be improved, and what activities they want to see at the park. Photos will be reposted on the Parks and Recreation Department's Instagram account as a collective community gallery.
