Green Bay, WI Great Being Home Home Down Payment Incentive
Local officials approved $250,000 in federal ARPA funds for the incentive program. Employees of the city, nonprofits, and small local businesses can apply for $5,000 each. Payments can be used for down payments and closing costs on homes within city limits. There is no income requirement for eligibility though recipients must complete pre-purchase counseling from NeighborWorks Green Bay. The project operator also finds additional financial assistance to boost the program's impact.
