High Peak Borough Council, GB Pick-Fit Littering Program

High Peak and Staffordshire Moorlands equip participants with road safety and litter-picking gear for up to three months. Pick-Fit volunteers gather litter on their walks with the councils suggesting routes based on littering hotspots. Each participant is eligible for a free one-week leisure center pass in exchange for a photo of their collected litter. The Pick-Fit initiative supports council street cleaning teams and encourages active lifestyles.
