Kingston upon Hull City Council, GB tests low-carbon heating technology in council house

Kingston upon Hull City Council, GB Low-Carbon Council House

In Progress

Council leaders are working with the University of Hull to test a first-of-its-kind heating system. This innovative technology reduces emissions and utility costs by combining air-source heating with ventilation. University researchers study the system's efficiency and usage to inform a commercial version. If successful, the council could install this system in additional council houses as part of its 2030 net-zero emission initiative.
