Kirklees Council, GB Health Checks Pilot Preventive Care
Kirklees Wellness Service coaches conduct free check-ups at public locations during the pilot. Eligible residents are aged 40 to 74 without pre-existing health conditions. Each Health Check turns vital signs, histories, and lifestyle information into a personalized health plan. Referrals to free community and council services help participants achieve their long-term health goals. The pilot reduces doctor and emergency room visits by catching illnesses early in their development.
