The two-month pilot allowed homeowners to request a consultation by a local landscaper. Each consultation yielded a free tree that fitted best with the property's existing foliage and access to the sun. A neighborhood planting initiative provided neighborhood groups with up to 15 trees to plant in public spaces. The residential and neighborhood planting options each included follow-up sessions to check on tree health.
