Leeds City Council has secured £25.3 million in funding to install green upgrades in local schools, leisure centres, and civic buildings. The initiative will decarbonize 38 publicly-owned buildings, reduce the city's overall carbon emissions by 4,000 tonnes, and create approximately 338 jobs. The installations include air source heat pumps, solar photovoltaic panels, LED lighting, etc.
