Leeds City Council partnered with BT Enterprise and Openreach to launch the Leeds Full Fibre Programme. The programme was designed to bring full fibre connectivity to local Council and health service buildings. The full fibre network will be installed in 293 Council buildings and 156 NHS buildings. Once installed, the network should be able to provide connectivity for all 285 schools in the district and four million homes and businesses.
