Marsala, SIC Territorial Partnerships resilient development

The Municipality of Marsala launched the "Green City" project which creates Territorial Partnerships for sustainable and resilient urban development. The initiative invoked partnerships between the municipalities of Marsala and Alcamo, the municipalities of El Ain, Hermel, Boudai and Dekwaneh in Lebanon, and the municipalities of Irbid and Karak in Jordan. The partnerships promote and strengthen good management practices for waste collection, air quality, recycling and energy efficiency.
