New York, NY at-risk LGBTQ+ youth workforce pilot program

New York City is launching "NYC Unity Works" the nation's largest and most comprehensive workforce development program for at-risk LGBTQ+ youth. The $2.6 million initiative will provide at-risk young adults with job training, educational opportunities, mental health services and paid internships. The NYC Unity Works pilot program will reach 90 participants over four years and is targeted at young adults between the ages of 16 to 24 who are homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
