Newcastle upon Tyne City Council uses the ReciteMe tool to provide accessibility features on its website including dyslexia software tools and over 100 language translations. The Council allows users to zoom in on text up to 300% and change colours, contrast levels, and fonts. Users can navigate the website with speech recognition software, a screen reader, or just a keyboard. The Council continues to seek compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines AA standard with regular updates.
