Richmond, BC "Let's Recycle Correctly!" educating residents
The City of Richmond launched the "Let's Recycle Correctly!" campaign to divert landfill waste and reduce contamination costs by educating residents on proper recycling. City recycling teams conduct random visual inspections of curb-side recycling and provide residents with customized tips. Residents receive a Report Card based on their inspection findings. Residents with positive results also receive a Richmond Recycling Expert Gold Star and free passes to city recreational facilities.
