AskSJC was introduced in July 2020 to address common questions about the ongoing pandemic and upcoming elections. The chatbot accessible from the county's main page provides responses to 230 questions phrased as full sentences or keywords. Residents receive related links and contacts if they need additional help. County staffers designed the bot to respond in the three most frequently used languages in the county.
