The county installed 70 access points to the SMC Public Wi-Fi network at Woodland Park. County staffers used connectivity data to locate neighborhoods that lacked reliable Internet access. The Woodland Park project provides reliable Wi-Fi to residents of 1,800 apartments including public school students. San Mateo County first expanded connectivity with broadband subscriptions for two school districts and plan mobile hotspots in the near future.
