Cambridgeshire County Council, GB Digital Twin Experience
County-led Smart Cambridge and the University of Cambridge developed the digital twin using existing traffic data. The model layers demographic and employment data to show who is commuting on what streets each day. Researchers use the digital twin to show how remote work, road projects, and housing developments impact commuting patterns. Smart Cambridge plans public engagements with the digital twin to shape traffic improvements.
