Allerdale Borough Council partnered with Gatherwell to launch the Allerdale & Lakeland Lottery to provide funding for local organisations and charities. The weekly lottery allocates 50% of its ticket sales to nominated charities and 10% of its ticket sales to a local community funding pot. Each ticket costs £1 with a jackpot of £25,000 for a matching sequence of six numbers. Players can setup a monthly payment in advance with the option to do a three, six or twelve month repeating subscription.

Allerdale Borough Council partnered with MiPermit to launch a new online commercial parking permit system. The permits are used by local businesses to provide their customers with parking in the Council's car parks. The online system allows businesses to purchase as many permits as they require then change the vehicle registration number associated with each permit as needed. Each permit lasts 1 to 12 months with an annual cost of £503 and a £1 set-up fee for each permit.
