Allerdale Borough Council partnered with Gatherwell to launch the Allerdale & Lakeland Lottery to provide funding for local organisations and charities. The weekly lottery allocates 50% of its ticket sales to nominated charities and 10% of its ticket sales to a local community funding pot. Each ticket costs £1 with a jackpot of £25,000 for a matching sequence of six numbers. Players can setup a monthly payment in advance with the option to do a three, six or twelve month repeating subscription.
