The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority has launched its new Monthly Safety Tracker, an online dashboard that makes safety statistics for buses and trains more accessible and easier to understand than previous lengthy monthly public safety reports. It aims to build rider confidence by transparently answering the common question “Is riding Metro safe?” while highlighting positive trends.
