Armadale, WA Citywide Recycling Tag Audit

Complete

The Bin Auditing and Tagging program responded to the 20% share of recycling bins contaminated by waste. Armadale employees were assigned to random streets and checked bins on three collection days. Auditors placed tags with smiles or frowns on bins to indicate success or failure in avoiding bin contamination. Each tag included Recycle Right tips to keep recyclable items out of landfills.
