Ashfield District Council conducts the "Bag it!" campaign inviting residents to leave an extra bag of rubbish during their general waste collection. The household waste must be properly bagged, not contain any hazardous material, and be placed next to the residential bin on the curb in order to be collected. The Council uses "Bag it!" campaign to help residents discard extra waste around major holidays including Christmas and New Year.
