Bega Valley, NSW Post-Wildfire Recovery Green Shoots
Residents of Kiah and Quaama inform greening efforts through an online survey. The survey asks about specific lots in need of assistance and private property issues that emerged following the 2020 fires. Council officials are holding in-person feedback sessions in each community to further shape the program. The Green Shoots initiative includes educational workshops with an environmental expert and community planting days.
