Canada Bay, NSW Resource Recovery and Waste Strategy
The strategy established 90 actions across five goals including illegal dumping reduction and increased recycling rates. An Apartment Recycling Program used educational stickers, bin audits, and participant pledges for recycling improvements across 1,500 units in 18 buildings. The Love Your Place initiative equips businesses and neighborhood groups to maintain green spaces. Local officials also built studies of innovations from bin tracking technologies to recycling incentives into the plan.
