Canterbury Regional Council launched a pilot project to address dust issues using an online reporting tool. The Council is encouraging residents to report any noticeable dust to help locate the source. The Council installed two dust monitors to record dust levels and wind patterns. Additionally, the Council employed two staff members to respond to any dust reports. The goal of the pilot is to proactively reduce dust exposure for residents.
