City & County of Swansea, GB advances carbon-neutral goals with 71 and 72 The Kingsway development

City & County of Swansea, GB Carbon Neutral Development

Planning

The five-story office building relies on rooftop solar panels for zero-emission power. A planned rainwater collection system reduces potable water usage on grounds maintenance. Tenants experience lower energy costs thanks to ground-source heating and heat recovery systems. Swansea and its project partners are integrating 71 and 72 The Kingsway into surrounding multi-use travels. The development is scheduled to open in 2023.
