City of York Council, GB MYnority York Brexit Community Life

The council and its project partners help migrants qualify for the EU Settlement Scheme. This program allows those living in the UK for at least five years to stay in place and seek citizenship. Community volunteers and local law students provide guidance in five languages during weekly York Migrant Hub sessions. The Welcome to York program combines social events with English lessons and job training that reduce barriers to employment.
