Cumbria County Council, GB Assistive Equipment Collection

Complete

The program responded to the reduced availability of items like shower stools and commodes due to supply chain issues. Cumbria County Council accepted used but functional equipment at its Household Waste Recycling Centres as well as two take-back events. Donated items were cleaned and delivered to residents receiving home care services. This initiative was the result of a collaboration among the council's Community Equipment, Library, and Waste Services teams.
